IWF UK Spring Reception 2019

We celebrated the amazing work of the IWF Leadership Foundation at our Spring Reception kindly hosted by EY on Monday 11 March.
Guests and members alike took away a greater knowledge of the support, mentoring, empowerment and impact provided by the Foundation's Fellows Program and Women Athletes Business Network (WABN) Mentoring Program established in partnership with EY.
After a welcome by our host Lucy Rosemont on behalf of EY, the evening was introduced by Julie Goldstein, IWF UK Chair, and Marty Wikstrom, IWF Leadership Foundation Board Member. We heard from inspiring speakers Jo Rance, Chief Marketing Officer at Farrow and Ball (2016-2017 Class Fellow), and from Vicky Ellis, Clipper Round the World Yacht skipper (WABN 2018), and Susie Rodgers MBE, gold medal Paralympian (WABN 2016)
Each shared their experiences and journey, what they learned about themselves, the connections they made and how taking part had transformed their lives.
Now in its 25th year, the Fellows Program accelerates the careers of top-performing women through world-class leadership training and mentoring from executive women leaders. The EY WABN Mentoring Program is designed to provide the support and guidance that elite women athletes require as they transition from sport to new career paths or advance further into their post-sport profession. Each year, it pairs up to 25 athletes with IWF leaders for a high-touch mentoring and training experience.
