IWF UK Theatre Event: Girl from the North Country at The Old Vic 28 September 2017 5:30pm

Events

Our annual programme is our most important platform for promoting women’s leadership and for enriching each other’s lives by sharing knowledge, ideas and intellectual capital. Our programme is the key to providing and maintaining our sense of community.

The programme includes: member breakfasts; behind-the-scenes tours; special briefings; member dine-arounds; special interest groups and our annual events: Annual General Meeting; Jean Denton Lecture; Summer Reception and Christmas Breakfast.

In addition, we look to promote the international agenda and benefits of membership of IWF through participation in the IWF programme, including two major events in the year, one in North America and one elsewhere in the world.

IWF UK Theatre event: Girl from the North Country at the Old Vic

Join us for this special evening at The Old Vic, for a pre-show Old Vic Voices Off panel discussion on 'Can lyrics be literature?', followed by best seats in the house for 'Girl from the North Country'.

This is a new play written and directed by Conor McPherson with music by Bob Dylan.  It will be the show everyone's talking about!  as it's the first time Bob Dylan has given permission for his music and songs to be used and he has given Conor McPherson complete and full access to his entire back catalogue, a 'must' for Dylan fans!

Guests welcome, but we only have a limited number of tickets, so book early.

Cost: to include the pre-show talk, a glass of wine and stall tickets TBC

LAST DATE FOR CANCELLATIONS: MON 18 SEPT 2017
Price: £0.00
