Julie Goldstein is an international business executive with over 30 years experience in the marketing services and luxury goods industries. She has held a number of senior board positions in finance and general management at international companies both in the UK and USA.Julie is a member of the Board of Trustees at the University of Bristol and sits on the Nominations Committee and the Honorary Degrees Committee. She serves as the Chair of Convocation and the Alumni Association, representing a community of over 120,000 alumni and is also a mentor to students at the University. She cares passionately about the student experience and supports initiatives to enhance student employability.She graduated from the University of Bristol with a degree in Physics and then pursued a career in finance, first qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG and then embarking upon a commercial career with Allied Signal Inc, followed by the FKB Group PLC, where she handled the acquisition and integration of numerous diverse business operations. She moved to New York in 1989 to oversee the North American operations and in 1994 became President and COO of QLM Marketing Inc, a US marketing consultancy. In 1999 she joined the board of Phillips Auction Group which was acquired by LVMH and upon her return to London in 2002 she co-founded an entrepreneurial media business, Luxury Unveiled, creating innovative programming with global distribution and partnered with global brands including Chanel, Cartier and Tiffany. Julie returned to full time education in 2013 and obtained a Diploma in Law from the University of Law, London. She is a business advisor and Director of Planning at Goldstein & Lee, PC, an international law firm.Julie is a member of the ICAEW and a Trustee at Migraine Action. She is married with one son and lives in London.
